| Q: |
What’s the best way to apply guano and how much should I use? |
| A: |
Sunleaves guanos are gentle, slow-release fertilizers which can be tilled into
the soil, used as a top-dressing, or applied directly to plant roots via a
solution made from a couple tablespoons of guano per gallon of water. All
applications work equally well.
For use with young plants, mix one tablespoon of
guano per gallon of water and apply directly around the base of each plant. For
older or larger plants, mix up to three tablespoons of guano per gallon of water
and apply during the vegetative cycle of growth. You can also broadcast guano in
the spring and mid-summer at the rate of 25 pounds per 1,000 square feet of area
for a lush, green lawn. |
