These
high-output fluorescent grow lamps have an extremely high lumen per watt
rating compared to standard fluorescent bulbs, making them extremely
suitable for indoor plant cultivation purposes. Each 24-watt, 22-inch
long, high-output fluorescent grow tube produces 2,000 lumens, or 83.33
lumens produced per watt of energy consumed. By comparison, a Gro-Lux
20-watt, F20 wide spectrum lamp produces a mere 750 lumens, or 37.5
lumens per watt.
High-output
T5 fluorescent grow lamps have a very low heat factor which allows the fixture
to be hung extremely close to plant canopy, thus increasing usable
light levels. The Sun Blaze T5 Grow Light features an advanced reflector design
that offers excellent reflectivity and diffusion.
Incorporating state-of-the-art fluorescent technologies, Sun Blaze
Compact T5 Grow Light fixtures utilize high-output T5 24-watt bulbs that provide
an extremely even and incredibly bright growing area that rivals
HID lighting. Economically priced, these fixtures are low profile,
sleek and easy to hang. Measuring only 2.5 inches tall, these fixtures
are ideally suited for growing in areas where vertical space is limited.
Textured charcoal gray powder coating looks sharp in any decor and is
louvered for cool operation. Fixture features an extra long 12 foot
power cord and a convenient on/off switch, as well as a daisy chain
feature that allows multiple fixtures to be plugged in together and
