T5 Fluorescent Grow Light
The NEW Tek-Light High Output T5 Fluorescent Grow Light Fixtures
from Sunlight Supply are here. These Fluorescent Grow Lights are ideal
for your indoor garden. T5 lights have an extremely high lumen output
per watt compared to a standard fluorescent light bulbs (T12) or (T8)
making them ideal for growing plants indoors. The most common use for
these fixtures is for propagation but they can be used throughout the
entire grow cycle. Keep in mind that because you can lower the lights
so close to your plants canopy that you will be able to use a lot more
of the lights lumen output, but you won't get the same penetration that
you get with a HID lamp system.- Each 48in Tek Light T5 Fluorescent Grow Tube
has an output of 5000 lumens or 92.59 lumens per watt of energy
consumed. If you compare this to a standard 40 watt cool white lamp
which only produces 1260 watts per lamp or 31.5 lumens per watt of
energy used you can see the benefit to switching over. Not only do you
get more lumens but you are saving energy at the same time.
Because
of their low heat output these grow lights can be hung extremely close
to your plants canopy allowing for maximum usable lumens or light
energy. Tek-Light uses an exclusive 9-blend reflector made of 95%
reflective German aluminum which increases the lumen output by 300%
over using the T5 Grow Lights alone.
Tek lights include a
major brand solid state electronic ballast that does not emit heat, noise or
vibration. The T5 Tek-Light ballasts
are uniquely placed on the outside edge of the fixture, not above the
lamps like other competitive light fixtures making them last longer.
All Tek-Light T5 High Output Grow Lighting Fixtures come with a 2 year rebuild or replacement guarantee on the fixture from the manufacturer.
